Contact and valuation forms

When you use our forms (contact, valuation, newsletter), we collect the data you voluntarily provide:

• Identity data: first name, surname
• Contact data: email address, telephone number
• Property-related data: address, type, surface area, characteristics
• Content of your messages and requests

Browsing data

While you browse the site, we automatically collect anonymised technical data for statistical purposes: anonymised IP address, browser type, pages visited, visit duration. This data does not allow you to be personally identified.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Processing your contact and valuation requests — Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures (art. 6.1.b GDPR)
• Sending the newsletter — Legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR)
• Commercial prospecting — Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR)
• Legal and accounting obligations — Legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR)
• Service improvement and anonymous statistics — Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR)

4. Retention period

• Prospect data (contact forms, valuation without follow-up): 3 years from the last contact
• Client data (completed transaction): 5 years from the end of the commercial relationship
• Anonymised browsing data: 13 months maximum
• Newsletter data: until unsubscription, then deletion within 30 days
• Invoicing data: 10 years (legal accounting obligation)

5. Your GDPR rights

In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

6. Recipients of the data

Your data is accessible only to MetroRealty staff authorised within the framework of their duties. It may be transmitted to third-party technical providers (host, email-sending tool) strictly within the framework of the performance of their services, under a sub-processing agreement compliant with the GDPR.

We never sell, rent or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

7. Cookies and trackers

The METROREALTY website uses Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to measure its audience anonymously. These analytics cookies are only placed with your prior consent, in accordance with CNIL recommendations.

Your consent

On your first visit, a banner invites you to accept or decline analytics cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (key mr_consent). You can change it at any time: Change my preferences.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — with consent only

If you accept, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics 4, which may place the following cookies:

• _ga — anonymous visitor identifier, 2-year duration. Distinguishes sessions.
• _gid — session identifier, 24-hour duration.
• _ga_XXXXXXXXXX — GA4 session state, 2-year duration.

These cookies contain no personally identifiable data. IP addresses are anonymised. Data is processed by Google LLC (United States) under the GDPR framework. Google privacy policy.

Strictly necessary cookies

Regardless of your consent, only cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the site are used:

• PHP session cookie — administrator area only, never on the public part of the site.
• CSRF token — security of contact forms, expires when the browser is closed.
• Language preference (mr_lang) — stores your language choice (French or English), duration 1 year, no third-party sharing.

These cookies are exempt from prior consent in accordance with article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the recommendations of the CNIL.

Browser local storage (localStorage)

The site uses the browser's local storage to remember your consent choice (mr_consent) and certain display preferences. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or to third parties.

Third-party services loaded on the site

Some pages load resources hosted by technical providers:

• Google Tag Manager / Analytics — loaded only after your consent. Google policy
• Google Fonts — loading of DM Sans and DM Serif Display fonts. No cookie placed. Google policy
• OpenStreetMap / Leaflet — interactive maps on property pages. No cookie placed. OSM policy

• Public APIs data.gouv.fr / Géo / INSEE — open data calls (DVF, populations). No personal data transmitted.

No advertising or profiling cookies

METROREALTY does not use:

• Google Ads, Facebook / Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any advertising pixel
• Profiling, retargeting or behavioural personalisation cookies
• Cross-site trackers or digital fingerprinting

8. Data security

MetroRealty implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure: TLS/HTTPS encryption, restricted access to data, strong passwords, regular backups.
